Cracked and Broken by Diana Jones
Until relatively recently, I had a lifetime of trying too hard at singing. It squishes your vocal chords, makes you lose your breath, and the message in the song sounds strained and fake. Plus, I used to have a death grip on my guitar. Finally I stopped taking myself so seriously, and began to have more fun with music. The mistakes weren’t so important any more. Competition wasn’t as important any more. Today I am posting a song by Diana Jones called, “Cracked and Broken.” Her message is obvious: love flows in through the flaws, the cracks, the imperfections that we all share in infinite variety.
